For those who aren't following me on social media there was a page uploaded on Wednesday to make up for not updating next week, so please go check it if you haven't already seen it!

I personally am used to having a small Thanksgiving with just my husband since our jobs usually made it impossible to travel for the holidays, but this year we're doing it to be responsible! For those of you who are also having very small get-togethers might I offer my tiny turkey recipe?

Throw some turkey breasts in the crock pot for 6 hours on low with a can of cream of chicken, 4 cups of chicken broth, a packet of turkey gravy mix, and some black pepper. Remove the turkey and thicken the gravy with a cold water/ cornstarch mixture. The turkey is never dry, the gravy never fails. It won't look like something that's sat under a broiler or anything but it's easy and tasty and it gives you more time to focus on any effort-intensive dishes you might have in the works.

Those weird turkey breast "tenderloins" though? No, not those. They taste weird.
